Name of Salon/Studio:
Daniel Ross Salons
How long have you been lashing? Where did you receive your certification/training?
I’m going on 7 years, I was taught from the owner of a previous spa I worked at.
What made you decide to be a lash artist?
I actually was never really interested in lashing; but I got a job at a spa that offered to train me and I’ve been lashing ever since!
What is your favorite thing about being a Lash Artist?
The instant results you get from a fresh full set.
Have you taken any continuing education or advanced classes in lash artistry? If so, when and what?
Unfortunately no, but I would love to take an advanced volume course.
How long have you been using Lash Tavern products?
About 8 months.
What is your favorite Lash Tavern product and why?
The easy fan volume trays hands down! They make making your own fans so much easier!!!
What are your hobbies outside of lashing?
I’m a mom so my daughter and I spend a lot of time exploring nature and seeing what we can find.
What is the hardest lesson you have had to learn while lashing?
That I won’t be able to make everyone happy and give everyone their dream lashes, sometimes their natural lashes aren’t healthy enough for what they want ideally or aren’t long enough/ strong enough to hold the extensions that would give them that look.
Do you have any advice for new lash artists?
ISOLATE ISOLATE ISOLATE!!! Take your time and don’t rush, practice will pay off in the long run.
Is there anything you’d like to tell us about yourself that we haven’t asked about?
When I comes to lashing I have a sick obsession with a good lash fix and educating clients on how properly applied lashes are supposed to look and feel.
Thank you Tabatha, for being our spotlight of the week. We are proud of the work and artistry you provide lash clients in Washington!
