Today we will be spotlighting someone new to the industry, Nayeli Isabeles from Goodyear, Arizona!
Goodyear , AZ
How long have you been lashing? Where did you receive your certification/training?
5 months and through Browz and Lashes R Us
What made you decide to be a lash artist?
I have a 1 year old daughter and suddenly became a single mom and I realized that in order to do something better for her and my future I needed to do more. I’ve been getting my lashes done for a really long time and love how they make me feel and make it easy to get ready so I wanted to be able to make others feel that same way. My mom and sister are in the beauty industry, it just made sense to be in it as well, since I am a medical assistant also.
What is your favorite thing about being a Lash Artist?
I love being able to get good/ bad feedback , being able to develop friendships and acquaintances and make people feel good about how they look.
How long have you been using Lash Tavern products?
What is your favorite Lash Tavern product and why?
Haven’t had the chance to try much but I love the lashes for looking and feeling so natural and as well as the adhesive as it sticks so well!
What are your hobbies outside of lashing?
I am a medical assistant part time and do that mornings , and when I don’t have lash clients I try to spend as much time with my daughter and try to make an adventure out of anything what we can do.
What is the hardest lesson you have had to learn while lashing?
Small lashes and isolation have been my biggest challenge, as well as needing a lot of patience.
Do you have any advice for new lash artists?
Stay positive don’t let one bad outcome make you quit . Practice makes perfect!
Thank you Nayeli, for being our spotlight of the week. We are so excited to see you learn and grow in this industry!
