Name of Salon/Studio: Lashes By Grace
How long have you been lashing? Where did you receive your certification/training?:
I’ve been lashing for 7 months.
What made you decide to be a lash artist? :
I tried to find something I liked to do when COVID started and I realized how much I enjoyed making women feel beautiful!
What is your favorite thing about being a Lash Artist?:
I love seeing the smile on the women’s faces. And I love trying new techniques and styles! Always room to learn more!
Have you taken any continuing education or advanced classes in lash artistry? If so, when and what? *
I am taking an online course to help keep me up to speed on different classic sets.
How long have you been using Lash Tavern products?
I have been using them ever since I started lashing in April!
What is your favorite Lash Tavern product and why?
The pre-fanned lashes are my favorite, they are so light and fluffy and they look natural with just the right amount of volume for my volume sets without making the client feel that her eye is too heavy. My clients always tell me how comfortable they feel!
What are your hobbies outside of lashing?
I also groom dogs, which I have been doing for 5 years.
What is the hardest lesson you have had to learn while lashing?
Keep your eye on your humidity and temperatures. It’s so much more important than some realize. Better retention when it is regulated!
Do you have any advice for new lash artists?
Don’t get discouraged. Learn from small mistakes. And please get a humidifier!
Thank you Grace for being our Lash Artist of the Week!
