Hands aching at the end of your lash day? Did you know that most hand and wrist fatigue in lashing is caused by incorrect tweezer grip?

So what actually is the best way to hold your tweezer? Holding your tweezer with the pads of your thumb and ring finger takes tension off the rest of your fingers and wrist. Unfortunately, most lashers are not taught this during training and naturally fall into holding their tweezer in a ‘pencil grip’.

For classic lashers, pencil grip may not cause too many problems in the short term. However, this bad habit will be sure to cause issues when learning the volume method, when proper tension is needed to for the small hand and finger movements made to make your fans.
